  • Give your child the power to express freely
  • Teach your child to deal powerfully with change
  • Significantly boost the intellectual and emotional development of your child
  • Further your child’s relationships with others

How does our workshop empower you with the knowledge to achieve all this?

Substantially Improved Focus

The simple process of play induces your child to become engrossed in tasks, planning and the activity at hand. You will be participating in exercises that will improve focus and concentration building on the connection between mind and body.  This type of attention benefits your children in every challenge they'll encounter during life. ADDAM activities engage the child’s mind to stay focused and attentive.

Enhanced Creativity and Imagination

Children see and understand the world much differently than adults. As there are no limits or restrictions. Our creative activities offer unlimited possibilities for children to express their creativity and imagination. Children's imagination will grow through their natural desire to discover and create building on different situations involving physical movements, sounds, and colours and shapes.

Effective Problem Solving Skills

Children begin problem solving at a very young age. Keeping mentally active and interpreting sensory information while playing expands children's ability to reason and problem-solve. Our activities encourage your child to more accurately combine their interpretation with prior knowledge, thereby discovering, learning and executing strategies necessary to produce desired outcomes.

Strong Connection With Others

Would you like to see your child being themselves with others? Clinical studies have shown that activities between parent/carer and child support the neurodevelopment of the child. Our workshops put this theory into practice with activities to engage both you and your child to develop your child’s confidence and engagement.

Greater knowledge about the Diverse World Around Us

We introduce art, music, drama and dance from different parts of the world. Learning about different countries helps children perform better academically, but also helps them be more apt to communicate better with people in general

The advantages are well and good but how do we actually get children interested, happy and curious coming back for more? Through music, art, dance and drama activities which are proven to gain your child’s interest, involvement and participation!

What can we learn from children?

Dimensions of Creativity

Dance

Dance and movement allow your deepest expression to emerge. Every man, woman and child deserves a chance to connect to their true dancer. Our intention is to facilitate and guide you through the exploration of mind, body, creative movement, musicality and self expression.

Drama

Ever wondered what it would be like to have a tea party on the moon? Drama brings imagination to life. Drama is an integral aspect of the creative process. We’ll be exploring the depths of what it would be like to be completely in touch with your emotions. Give your child a chance to express themselves with total freedom. Exploring different characters, you’ll have the opportunity to role play and see things from your child’s perspective. We’ll show you how to embrace your stage fright in a fun and supportive environment.

Art

Art is more than putting paint to paper or shaping clay into a sculpture. It is a way to share with the world what we feel on the inside. On this creative journey you will learn to express yourself when words alone aren’t enough. Colours, sensations and movement will be used to connect with your child. Creating on this level will open up doors to the realm of imagination.

Music

Music is the expression of the soul. Every emotion that we feel colours the sounds that arises from within us. The key is to learn how to connect our deepest emotions to the music we want to produce. On this journey your child will develop the courage to express their thoughts and feelings using their voices, and by doing so share themselves for all to enjoy.

Here's a taste of what you can expect:

  1. One on one time between you and your child. This has been neurologically proven to aid the growth and development of the child
  2. Cross section of activities covered in the fields of dance, music and art and drama.
  3. Be supported by experienced professionals. Expert facilitators include a Speech pathologist, Early Childhood qualified Dance Professional, Music Producer and Performer, and Communications Manager. All have experience with children
  4. 100% involvement with both you and your child.
  5. Home activities to sustain what is learnt in the workshops. Learn effective tools you can use forever.
  6. Network and build relationships with other parents and children. Connect community in events after the workshop. We are committed that your creative journey continues, long after the workshops are over.

Warning: This is not for those who believe that time with your children can be replaced with TV, toys and “things”. If you believe that achieving good grades and excelling academics is all that matters, this program is not for you.

Principles and values

 STOP

1.1     Connecting through mind, body and soul
Breathing exercise and using the mind to move and foster creativity.

1.2     Being still and silent
Enhancing our senses without our main communicator, our voice. We will guide you through a range of exercises, which will expose you to the world of a chid. We will focus on the senses of hearing, smelling, seeing and touch.

CONNECT

2.1     Connecting with oneself.
Remember when you were a child and you could do as you pleased? Remember when you would spend hours on your own discovering, exploring and learning? We provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to be spontaneous and just being with your child.

2.2     Participation
100 % involvement with both you and your child. One on one time between carer and child has been neurologically proven to aid the growth and development of the child.

2.3     Full self-expression
Learning tools to have the ability to express yourself to the fullest extent in a cross section of activities covering the fields of dance, music and art and drama.

2.4     Support
Be supported by experienced professionals. Expert facilitators include a Speech Pathologist, Early Childhood qualified Dance Professional, Music Producer and Performer, and Communications Manager. All have experience with children.

CREATE

3.1     Continued Learning and Growth
The activities we teach can be used at home and with others to sustain what is learnt in the workshops. Learn effective tools you can use forever. You will take home your very own resource book filled with the tools, learning’s, and activities.

3.2     Like-minded Community
Network and build relationships with other parents and children. Connect community in events after the workshop. We are committed that your creative journey continues, long after the workshops are over.

3.3     Opening the doors to creativity
You will be support and guided by experts in the field of art, music, dance and drama. This is where you express your passion with your child.

Testimonials

I have learnt about relationships and the power I have in everything I do. My courage has been taken to another levelMalika Krishnadasan, Regional Communications Manager

I am ready to be strong and courageous. Even when i am terrified I wont BE that terror, I can now step into a courageous place and walk into whatever life throws at me” Trish Donoghue, Actor and Mother

I got an authentic perspective of my life and got in touch with my deepest fears and dreams. Now, I can act on them” Tirukumar Thiagarajah, University Lecturer and Singer

"I got that i've made my life so complicated and that it was this story that I held onto so tightly that limited me in every moment. I got that there is a different way to living and that it is only through my choice to change that makes the difference. I got that taking responsibility for myself has the most potency for living a truly magnificent life.

The warrior being program gave me powerful tools week by week that broke down old habit patterns, that expanded my self awareness and allowed me to see the stuff that I turn away from in my life that I know I need to face. I gained a family of like minded people that shared openly, love and support me, even after the course, to live my fullest potential and expression." Campbell Wilson, Entrepreneur, Yoga Teacher and Cinematographer
