What are your dreams?
My dream is to see a world created through strong community networks. Where 'alone-ness' is a time out that you take for yourself to recharge, not the way that you feel day to day.
I dream of a world created through 'honest conversation' where in every relationship the greatest treasure is our ability to express our most honest thoughts and to be received with great respect and acceptance and complete listening.
I wish to see trust flourish in our day to day existence - trust in ourselves, in our abilities, our strengths, and the universe to provide exactly what is needed for us to experience a great human adventure with all of its lessons of wisdom and joys of discovery.
What skills and talents do you bring as your gifts?
I have a great passion for people, and with this passion comes skills of communication and interaction . I am able to facilitate conversation for self expression and conflict resolution, creating spaces of trust and respect.
I can offer my skills in event management, as I have been successfully involved in organizing and running various community events.
I have for many years been involved with the art of dance (Street Latin Dance) in the aspects of performing, teaching and leading teams.
What work do you dream of doing?
I dream of facilitating change for a greater more connected and expressive society. Empowering people to trust and believe in their abilities and express the best that they can be into the world. I want to work, creating generative relationships and networks that will inspire each us to be courageous in building our own little piece of passion rather than simply ‘following’.
Who are your sources of inspiration?
The greatest source of inspiration are the people in my life. Every contribution that comes from their heart and every painful experience that is taken on as a great source of wisdom is the fuel in my tank of persistance and inspiration.
Tell us about your achievements in your life
I am a director of a Latin Dance School in Sydney and have had many of my great achievements in this arena. I have represented Australia in the world Salsa Championships 3 years in a row always placing in the top 6 of the world with approx 80 teams competing.
Over the last 5 years I have travelled to many countries around the world teaching the skills of Latin Dance and performing my own pieces of choreography.
I have managed events in the Dance world attracting people from other countries to also share their passion for the art, and coached couples to be the best that they can be both as dancers and as people.
I have recently created spaces of self expression in the form of 'Authentic Hour' this is a place where people come together and share themselves, their intimate pains and greatest joys with a trusted community respectfully supporting and holding each other to account.
